This covers the theory exams for A2 CofC, GVC and RPC-L1. Practical flight assessments are booked separately, and What do I need to send you before my practical flight assessment? covers those.
Booking
Work through the online theory course first, then book your exam slot. Theory exams are sat online and proctored remotely through ProctorU, so you can take them from home or the office.
Give yourself enough time to prepare, and check your setup a day or two beforehand rather than on the morning.
Before the day
Log in to ProctorU at least 24 hours ahead and run the system check on your webcam, microphone and connection. Have photo ID ready, as the proctor will ask to see it. Sit somewhere quiet and well lit, with no notes or other devices around you.
If the login gives you any trouble, sort it now: I can't log in to ProctorU for my exam.
If you get stuck on the day
Ring the training team on 0330 111 7177 or email [email protected] straight away. If the fault is on ProctorU's side we'll rebook you at no cost.
If the course content won't load
Try a different browser and clear your cache first. If it still won't play, email [email protected] with the course name, the section you're stuck on and a screenshot of any error. That usually lets us reproduce it without a lot of back and forth.
If you don't pass
One of the team will be in touch to arrange a resit. Fees for GVC are in What if I don't pass a GVC assessment?, and for RPC-L1 in What if I don't pass an RPC-L1 assessment?
One last thing. Check the name on your account before you sit anything, because that's the name that ends up on your certificate. The name or email address on my Coptrz Academy account is wrong explains how to change it.
