Yes. During the transition period, both GVC and RPC certificates remain valid.
However, from January 2026 onwards, new UK SORA-based Operational Authorisations are expected to rely on RPC certificates rather than legacy qualifications.
From the 1st of January 2028 there will be no more GVC certificates issued, your existing GVC certificate will continue to remain valid for five years from its date of issue. After expiry you will be required to transition over to the RPC-L1.
