The names are one letter apart, but they're built for different jobs. The Matrice 5T is flown by a pilot with a remote controller. The Matrice 5TD lives in DJI Dock 4 and is flown remotely through DJI FlightHub 2, with nobody on site.
So the first question is whether you'll have a pilot there. If you will, it's the 5T. If you want an aircraft based permanently on site that launches on a schedule or when an alarm goes off, it's the 5TD with Dock 4.
What they have in common
Quite a lot. Each has a 1280 × 1024 thermal camera with a UHR mode that outputs 2560 × 2048, a 1/0.98-inch wide camera, up to 176× hybrid zoom and a laser rangefinder that reaches 3,000 m. They're both rated IP55, quote up to 59 minutes of flight time and have two built-in 4G modules. Obstacle sensing on each combines LiDAR and mmWave radar with vision sensors, and they both work with DJI FlightHub 2.
