Yes. Neither the RPC-L1 course nor the GVC to RPC-L1 conversion course requires you to hold your own Operations Manual or an Operational Authorisation.
RPC-L1 focuses on remote pilot theoretical knowledge and practical flying competence. It does not involve creating, submitting or approving an Operations Manual, so leaving a previous employer does not hold you back from qualifying.
You will need your own Operations Manual later, when you apply for your own Operational Authorisation. If you would like us to check one before you submit it, we offer an Operations Manual review as a separate service at £125 + VAT — email [email protected] and we will take it from there.
