The A2 CofC does not require a flight test as part of the certification process.
Instead, you must complete and log a minimum of 4 hours of A2 CofC training flights within the 90 days before you upload your logbook.
These must be flights flown specifically for the purpose of A2 training. General flying, or survey and commercial work you have carried out, cannot be counted towards the 4 hours, even if the flights are recent.
If you already hold a GVC, or an RPC-L1, L2 or L3, the requirement is reduced to 2 hours — but those still need to be training flights.
